Via Twitter Thursday night, I went with the Carolina Panthers to notch a home win against the visiting New York Giants. I apparently couldn’t have been more wrong. Here are the rest of this week’s game picks:

Thursday

New York Giants @ Carolina Panthers, Panthers (L)

Sunday

St. Louis Rams @ Chicago Bears, Bears

Buffalo Bills @ Cleveland Browns, Bills

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Dallas Cowboys, Cowboys

New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins, Jets

San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings, 49ers

Kansas City Chiefs @ New Orleans Saints, Saints

Cincinnati Bengals @ Washington Redskins, Redskins

Detroit Lions @ Tennessee Titans, Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts, Colts

Philadelphia Eagles @ Arizona Cardinals, Eagles

Atlanta Falcons @ San Diego Chargers, Falcons

Houston Texans @ Denver Broncos, Texans

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Oakland Raiders, Steelers

New England Patriots @ Baltimore Ravens, Patriots

Monday

Green Bay Packers @ Seattle Seahawks, Packers

Analysis

The games this week aren’t nearly as difficult to pick as last week with plenty of games appearing to be easy picks. One of the more difficult games is the Patriots over the Ravens. In what is likely to be one of the two or three best games of the week, it will be a tall order to walk into Baltimore and beat the Ravens, but I think the Patriots will, coming off an embarrassing home loss to the Cardinals. The interesting thing is after tonight, either the Patriots or Ravens will fall below .500 at 1-2. My upset alert game is the Monday nighter, where the Packers have to travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. The Pack are a superior team without question, but the Seahawks aren’t as bad as people might think and sport the league’s best home-field advantage.

Last Week: 9-7

Season to Date: 18-14
